Training on IPS method was organised in Arad for 20 coaches, between 6 to 9 May 2019. 7 experts from Fonix engaged in learning process to facilitate transfer of knowledge, methods and tools to local/national context concerning youth employment. EIVA Association selected 21 coaches from different regions of Romania, working in different types of entities connected to youth inclusion, such as, public county agency for employment, social centres for youth, NGO’s working with youngsters in risks, job placement companies, chamber of commerce, foundations supporting start-ups, experts from university – social science faculty. The diversity of practices, professional experiences and background of the 20 coaches enriched the group work discussions, so that success stories from Fonix to be transferred to Romanian practice. The 4-day training agenda was balanced, combining presentations andplenary sessions withgroup work activities; role play and practical exercises with debriefing and evaluation sessions. Besides indoor training activities, Norwegian experts had the opportunity to explore local culture and food. On 8th May,Eiva Association organised - International Workshop IPS in Career Counselling for Fonix experts at “AurelVlaicu” University, Faculty of Social Sciences, were they had opportunity to share basic elements of IPS Method to students invited at the event.
